I’m so excited to share some favorite photos from Julia and Tim’s wedding at Rocky Mount Mills, a fun new venue just east of Raleigh, NC. Julia and Tim contacted me about their wedding in the summer of 2018 and I was so happy to work with them – especially because I knew, from their initial email, that their photography was very important to them. In August of 2018 we met up for their engagement session at the art museum in Raliegh and a wooded hiking trail near Chapel Hill. It’s so true that an engagement session is great for connection and helps couples feel comfortable being in front of the camera – I loved discovering windows of opportunity to capture natural moments that really reflect Julia and Tim, and it was great to carry that aim over into the photography for the wedding day. This was my first wedding at Rocky Mount Mills – we planned out the details of where to take photos in advance of the wedding day and left some room for spontaneity when we went inside the Battle House and discovered some beautiful natural light and minimal backgrounds – the perfect backdrop to really put the focus on Julia and Tim. Congrats to this lovely couple on their colorful and fun wedding day!
